The good news in four steps

This is the gospel – the reason Jesus came into the world.

1 Timothy 1:15

“Christ Jesus came into the world to save sinners”

Step 1
God loves you.
You are wanted – exactly as you are.
John 3:16
“For God so loved the world that He gave His one and only Son, that everyone who believes in Him shall not perish but have eternal life.”
Step 2
Sin separates us from God.
We all live without him. No one finds the way back on their own.
Romans 3:23
“For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God.”
Step 3
Jesus builds the bridge.
He died for our sins and rose again.
Romans 5:8
“But God proves His love for us in this: While we were still sinners, Christ died for us.”
Step 4
You can say yes.
Trust him with your life. It is a gift.
John 1:12
“But to all who did receive Him, to those who believed in His name, He gave the right to become children of God.”
